What's included in the Professional Photography Package
Want to take home a bit more than a memory? When you book this package it includes high-resolution images sent to you within 14 days of your ride, for up to 4 riders (Great to book for a group).
Our photographer will catch a number of images, including both candid riding shots and portraits.
Pricing: $400 AUD
What else do I need to know?
Do we need to have any riding experience?
No experience is necessary, however we will need to know your Age, height, weight, and experience level.
Is there a minimum age?
The minimum age for our group tours is 18 years old.
Do we ride for the whole allocated time?
You will spend approx 15-20 minutes getting to know your horse in the round yard while receiving basic instructions, and just over an hour out on the trails on our Forest to Pub with an hour ride back.
What time is our ride?
We meet at 11am, starting our ride at 12pm. We will wrap up the day after light at approx. 5pm.
Is there a maximum weight?
The maximum weight for beginners is 100kg, or 105kg for experienced riders. Please contact us if you are slightly over this weight though, as we may still be able to take you.
What is our wet weather policy?
If it is raining and we need to cancel our ride we offer a credit.
Do we need travel insurance to ride?
We recommend that you take out personal travel insurance (that includes horse riding) or have private health insurance.
Can we bring cameras or phones on the ride?
You are unable to bring cameras (including GoPro) or phones along on the ride due to safety procedures. Our guides may take iPhone photos throughout the tour.

These packages include high resolution images sent to you within 14 days of your ride (Please note that professional photography packages are subject to availability and will be re-confirmed within 48 hours of your booking being made).
I have a medical issue... am I able to ride?
If you have any medical issues, injuries, allergies, or disabilities, please contact us to discuss prior to making a booking and we will do our best to assist you. Sometimes we will require a letter from your doctor clearing you for riding.
I am pregnant... Can I still ride? Unfortunately we are unable to take pregnant riders. Horse riding carries a risk of placental abruption. Please contact us if you have any questions, but note that medical advice should always be obtained from the appropriate medical professional.
Do you offer refunds? No refund will be given. Please also note we do not offer refunds on rides that are postponed due to weather (see below for more info). Please ensure you have the relevant travel insurance to cover you in the case of unforeseen events including (but not limited to) weather events, travel restrictions, and border closures.
Do we need travel insurance to ride? We recommend that you take out personal travel insurance (that includes horse riding) or have private health insurance.
What time should we arrive? Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time. When you arrive, please make your way to the front porch of the ranch and wait here for staff. Do not approach the horses. If coming from out of town, please allow adequate travel time, as we are unable to wait more than 15 minutes past your scheduled tour time. If you don't turn up for your ride ('No-Show'), this will be considered a late cancellation and we will be unable to reschedule or offer any sort of credit.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE IN NEW SOUTH WALES, SO IF YOU'RE COMING FROM QUEENSLAND YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE TIME DIFFERENCE DURING DAYLIGHT SAVING PERIOD.
What should I bring?
The essentials include jeans and boots (or enclosed shoes), a helmet is provided and is to be worn on our ride but if you would like to bring a cowboy hat to wear outside of your ride this is more than fine. Please wear comfortable top, and a great country western energy!

Do I need to have any riding experience?
No experience is required, we run through everything you need to know before hopping on your house.
Our groups are mixed-experience and the overall pace of the ride depends on the experience level of the group (i.e. if lots of beginners it will be slower paced etc).
Who is this event for?
Anyone over the age of 18 is able to attend our events, we cater to both cowgirls and cowboys and anyone who has a love for the country western and surf culture.
And YES you can come alone, many of our guests come solo and leave with lifelong friends.

The ranch is at Zephyr Beachside Ranch, Byron Bay.

Payments & Policies
Due to high demand, bookings are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to another friend if needed.
If we need to cancel your ride due to weather or any other circumstance we offer credit.
We also offer after pay options as well as gift voucher for you to gift this to someone.

Exclusive Ranch
Based in the stunning coastal landscape of Byron Bay, Zephyr Horse Ranch is where we host our ultimate Cowgirl Surf Club saddle and sip experience.
Pub Lunch
We will be parking our horses at the North Byron hotel where we will enjoy a nice pub lunch along with a round of drinks on us.
Sunset Campfire
We wrap up our trail ride back at the ranch where we will have a campfire under the stars with a beverage and campfire snacks.
